Transition period regarding customs regulations ends on December 31, 2020

After the United Kingdom of Great Britain including Northern Ireland has already officially left the European Union on January 31, 2020, the agreed transition period in which the United Kingdom will be treated as a member state of the European Union will also end on this date.

This of course also affects customs regulations – deliveries of goods are therefore subject to customs formalities.

Shipping delays and further challenges to be mastered when importing or exporting goods are to be expected, as a number of details are still being clarified between the EU and the UK.
